Hi there fellow musicians in Stockholm,
Recently created band is looking for new musicians to step up and emerge from its cocoon. We are at the moment two experienced musicians in the thirties, on guitar and bass. We play rock/metal music influenced by 70s and 90s scenes (doom, stoner, psychedelic, occult, and generaly all the stuff in this musical sphere) with heavy riffs and hazy atmosphere.
Both of us are already in active bands. We take it as a serious hobby : our goal is to write our own music (no covers), record, and play live when an opportunity arises. We would like to play at least once a week or twice if possible. We have 5 songs ready for you, a handful in the making and plenty of new ideas!
About your profile : age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc, does not play any role. We first care about the movitation to be in a band with a positive attitude and to be able to developp an artistic project with some team spirit.
We are looking for :
A drummer : our previous drummer moved back to an other city and we are looking for a substitute. Your task will be to incarnate the backbone of our band. You will have to learn our first songs and participate in the writting of the new ones. We are searching for someone with motivation cause its always hard to rehearse without the drummer right? As we play on slow to medium rock tempo, the level to reach is quickly accessible for a diligent musician. We will look firstly to your ability to groove and to pace the songs rather than your technical skills. If you have knowledge about recording your instrument, it would be highly appreciated.
A singer. We would like to have a girl or a guy, or both, why not? We are looking for someone with clean vocals. As a singer, you will be the the soul of our band and our frontwoman/man. We believe that a singer is more confortable when she/he writes the lyrics, but the other members can also help with it. If you have some knowledge about music theory, understand the dynamic and rythm of a song, or if you play any instrument, it would be an asset, but not required.
The bonus musician : you play something else, would like to help us to distille our mystic and meet us? Write us, we are curious and would like to know about you! We think about a second guitar, that can always help or a keyboard. We believe that a keyboard could definitely bring a new shape to our music.
