my name is Lars, I'm 26, and as the title says I'm looking for a bunch of fun people to make some noise with which might be interpreted as music by the so-inclined listener.
A few years ago I might have been very picky with the exact style, but to be honest, at this point I'm more interested in getting along with the people and having a good time.
Though I'd still prefer something that doesn't just consist of 3-4 powerchords up and down for 5min...I'm easily bored ;)
I've been playing the guitar for like 14 years I think, though in the last 3-4 years, since I moved to Sweden basically, I haven't had much motivation to practice due the lack of a band to use that ability with mostly.
Same goes for vocals really (I can do singing and growling, but I'd need a while to get back into practice).
Just to give you an idea where I'm coming from musically: I enjoy listening to things like Opeth, Dream Theater, Arch Enemy, The Agonist, Kamelot, Ensiferum, and so on...
I also very much enjoy strange style mixes, so if you have a Violin, Cello, Flute, Saz, or something in your band, that's probably a plus^^
My old band (years ago) also had a Violin, 3 Guitars and 3 Singers (not all separate people^^) and we made something that might qualify vaguely as Folk-Metal.
I have a car, so I'm reasonably mobile in terms of rehearsal location, though I'd prefer no more than 1h out from Lappis.
