We are a bunch of Spotify colleagues that kicked off a funk bands a year ago. Our band currently consists of a drummer, guitarist/singer and bassist. And we're now looking for a conga player to help us out and bring some extra groove.
Our repertoire consists of our own songs, but we don't mind playing a few covers if we can give it our own twist. Artists that influence us are The Meters, Curtis Mayfield, Herbie Hancock, James Brown, Buddy Miles, ...

We rehearse weekly in a rented rehearse space, and we're hoping to play some live concerts early next year. We're looking for a conga player who has a lot of his/her own material. Playing congas would be a huge plus.
