Hi there.
I am a Finnish singer-writer, 32 years old, spending most of my time in Stockholm. Originally I was classically trained (though never finished a degree) and performed for some years in musical theatre. Anyhow, that is just history.
Right now I am interested in finding a partner for creative collaboration in Stockholm. I am interested in different genres and very open to experimenting new stuff. Also attitude wise, for me it is possible to be tongue-in-cheek or very serious about my art.
I am mostly a singer and writer-lyricist with some skills in composing and keyboards, as well as knowledge in music theory. I have some experience in studio singing. I worked with a few projects in the past that included demo making. I wish to experiment with my voice, finding different sounds. However, I think I am not particularly "rock" in my sound. The classical/opera stuff I can do for effect if needed but mostly I have interest in some kind of theatrical pop, whatever that means. It can be very alternative or more commercial. Can be acoustic or very electronic. I think the result depends on our artistic chemistry. Anything is possible. Later I would be interested in developing some visual or theatrical aspects to our act if we were to go live. :)
I am always ambitious about what I do but I wish to develop this project slowly. No rush to do anything.
It is maybe better if you are more of a composer, instrumentalist and/or arranger. But many kinds of combinations can work. Two singers, why not. Harmonies are fun, too. And different voices together. It does not matter if you are a man or a woman. Also age, sexual preference or anything like that does not matter. I am openly gay myself but I am looking for only artistic collaboration. :)
It is really important that you are a nice and easy-going person... It must be fun to hang out, as well. Otherwise it would be pain to create anything together.
By the way, I do speak Swedish, too. Not perfectly but in most situations I can manage.
