Hej, i’m Ainslie, 21 years old and I’m originally from Falmouth, Cornwall and moved to Stockholm on the 1st of march and i’m looking to meet fellow musicians, understand the open mic circuit, follow events in the area and also join/create a band.
My background:
From the age of 15 i’ve been street performing in my home town and sneaking into bars to play open mic nights.
Over time i’ve developed a solo artistry of covers and original ideas which need a 2nd/3rd opinion and maybe some development.
I’ve been playing guitar for over 7 years, Ukulele for around 5 years, drums for 5 years, Banjo & Mandolin for 2 years and many other instruments.
I’ve been playing in bands for as long as i can remember playing genres such as Indy rock, Hardcore punk, Folk and experimental Rock.

What i’m looking for:
Really, i’m looking for anything. I have a semi acoustic which i busk with and i’d love to meet a small kit drummer/percussionist. Also to find somebody who could play violin, ukulele or keyboard would be fantastic for layering and bouncing ideas off of.
As a trio we can busk and earn some extra money and hopefully gig together!
Also i’d love to get into the metal music scene and i offer my vocals and my drumming ability, Although I don’t own a kit here in Stockholm.
My Influences:
Acoustically i enjoy listening to Country (Chris Knight, Chris Stapleton & Zane Williams)
Also i have a big influence from Folk: old and modern. (Bob Dylan, Keaton Henson & Gaz Brookfeild)
Performance wise i play a mix of Folk, Country and Pop music.
Heavier styles i enjoy anything from hardcore punk to classic metal.
Just to list a few: (’68, Cancer Bats, Metallica, The Chariot, Slipknot & Maximum the Hormone)
Live my vocals are more for something like ’68, Awake the Dreamer or Cancer Bats.
