Guitarist/Drummer guy, looking to start a band.
I'm 31, so mid-20s to mid-40s aged musicians would be preferable.
Looking for a drummer, bassist, guitarist, singer, keyboardist, whatever (you can be a guy or girl, doesn't matter) for a sort of "crossover" type band i guess, combining elements of Stoner, Doom, Black Metal, Death Metal, Punk, Hardcore, even grind...
Dig some of the following?: Cathedral, Melvins, Black Sabbath, ABSU, Darkthrone, Iron Maiden, Celtic Frost, Candlemass, Kyuss, Motorhead, Sleep, Witchfinder General, Thin Lizzy, Manilla Road, Grief, Iron Monkey, Poison Idea, Uncle Acid, Pixies, Black Flag, Reverend Bizarre, Bolt Thrower, Nifelheim, Sarcofago, Cirith Ungol, Danzig, Electric Wizard, Burning Witch, DOOM, Melechesh, Rudimentary Peni, Mudhoney, Slough Feg, the Jesus Lizard, High On Fire, Amebix, Napalm Death, Fantomas.....Melt Banana...? ............Risgrynsgröt??!!
You don't have to be exceptionally good at your instrument, I have no problem jamming with people who are maybe a bit rusty or out of practice or even relative beginners (the best way to get good at an instrument is playing with people!)
You just have to be willing, and interested in the type of bands i've listed obviously!
