Hi there
We’re looking for motivated musicians (at this moment mostly drums/percussion, keys/organ, singer, but open for more...) to start a reggae band in Stockholm.
We’re thinking reggae/ska/rocksteady but would love to bring in some afrofunk/ethnojazz influences.
We’re no professionals by any means, but have played in bands before and we love a good jam that might lead up to, who knows, live gigs etc?
The only demands are that you love good music, have a broad taste, and welcome gender and cultural diversity in playing music together.
Some inspiration: Hepcat, The Aggrolites, Prince Buster, The Upsetters, Fela Kuti, Antibalas, Vaudou Game...
