Bassist and drummer looking for a keyboardist or maybe guitarist to form a new 3-piece group playing original instrumental music in a smooth funk / acid jazz fusion style. Influences include: The Crusaders, Incognito, Jamiroquai, George Duke, Mezzoforte, Yellowjackets, Soulive and more.
We are both in our 40s – 50s and have played in loads of bands and projects, but are now looking for a friendly 3rd member to just enjoy creating some smooth funky feel-good music with. The main objective is to focus on recording and marketing our own songs online, and eventually play live if there are opportunities to do so.
