HELLO.
We are BLEEDING UTOPIA from Västerås, Sweden .. and we are a new "upcoming band" that plays Melodic Thrash / Death Metal with roots in the early 90th century Swedish Gothenburg metal (At hte Gates, early In Flames, etc.) mixed with some modern melodic death metal like Black Dahlia Murder, Amon Amarth, Lamb of god and of course the old legends Testament and Metallica ... it's our sound.
Our debut album called "DEMONS TO SOME GODS TO OTHERS" has been out of the digital market since April 22, 2012 and the physical CD was released October 1, 2012 by the Italian company Wormhole Death.
Now in september we went around on a Scandinavian tour to promote our new album. We already write new songs for the Future album that will be recorded in the spring / summer 2013 with Jocke Skog (Clawfinger, Scarpoint, Meshuggah, etc.) .. it will be a superb album. ... and we hope we can help each other to a "world domination", we both know that it's all about exposure, exposure and exposure to break through in today's society.
We are currently seeking sponsorship / collaboration that can help us to fund tours around Europe etc in the coming years. We live to play live, and we will try to play as much as possible across Europe to begin with, then we take over the U.S. and Asia.
We have signed on to a management / promotion / booking company from Holland. They have already begun to fix tours for us around Europe. Unfortunately we had to say no to a 11-day tour in December with a cult metal band Six Feet Under, and 16 days in Europe with Testament in November and now thank possibly say no to 25 days in Europe with GREAT death metal band Deicide in March 2013 due to lot of money on short notice for us in the band. As committed as it is part spending when you never get as much benefit as the main band. By dressing in today's music industry get buy themselves a place on tours. Kind of like buying an advertising spot in front of the main band's audience or customers if you want to think so. If you want to grow and make a career in the tough music business today, it's touring, touring and touring related. Then once you can shop around yourself and act headband so will most of the money back.
Unfortunately, not our simple little record label have the money needed to send us on tours.
